There is not even enough food to feed the laborers working the fields. The water supply has become diseased. One by one they drop like flies under the sweltering sun and the plantation owner and family have no choice but to resort to cannibalism. Forced to keep working and live, unable to scale the fortress walls, the alternative is to be found on the table in the dining room.
